Candidate for NC House District 13

A Neighbor You Can Trust

Jason is a lifelong North Carolinian and small business owner. With more than 20 years of experience in real estate, insurance, and farming, Jason brings real-world knowledge and a business-minded approach to public service—focused on keeping North Carolina affordable for families and job creators.

He is running for NC House 13 to take the needs and goals of Carteret and Craven Counties to the tables where decisions are made in Raleigh.

Rooted in Hard Work and Community

Born and raised in Hurdle Mills, NC, Jason grew up in a close-knit farming community where hard work, responsibility, and helping your neighbor were not ideas—they were daily expectations. Working alongside his father on the Moore family farm taught him the value of long days, shared responsibility, and stewardship of the land.

From an early age, Jason learned that strong communities are built when people take ownership, pull together, and look out for one another. But those communities need policies and infrastructure, to be given bootstraps to pull themselves up.

Real-World Business Experience

Jason is a graduate of North Carolina State University where he majored in Political Science and has spent over two decades working across multiple industries, including real estate, insurance, and agriculture.

His professional background has given him firsthand insight into the challenges facing small businesses, homeowners, farmers, fishermen, and working families—especially as rising costs make it harder to live and work in the communities people love. Jason understands how housing affordability, insurance premiums, job availability, and government regulations impact local economies. He believes that when policies are practical and focused on growth, families can get ahead and businesses will thrive.
